On India Upfront, Madhavdas discusses the latest developments in the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir that are now coming to light. Ap plea was filed in the Varanasi court seeking intervention into the Gyanvapi mosque, which is built adjacent to the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir. The Varanasi court has ordered the ASI to survey the site and present its finding in the matter. While the Hindu devotees seem to be rejoicing the decision, the AIMIM chief and other Waqf lawyers with the leaders of the opposition have turned this into a political issue as well. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has not only warned of Hindutva's lies but also the fraud that the ASI will perpetuate. Further, several other leaders have come forward stating that the issue of Babri masjid should also be reopened once again.
Those who are opposing the order of the Varanasi high court are totally against science, says Ratan Sharda.
